Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Position: Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Willenhall

JRS Associates have partnered up with a growing precision engineering business to recruit a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is not a continuous improvement-only role — this position requires someone technically strong, practical and confident supporting the shopfloor daily.

The successful candidate will support full lifecycle manufacturing engineering activities including offline CNC programming across 3, 4 and 5 axis machines

The Successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Package:

* £55,000 to £60,000 per annum

* 39 hours per week

* Monday – Thursday: 08:00am – 17:00pm & Friday: 08:00am – 13:00pm

* Permanent senior-level opportunity

The Successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Senior Manufacturing Engineer role

* Strong background in precision machining environments

* Confident generating offline CNC programs (3, 4 & 5 axis milling & turning)

* Experience supporting NPI projects from concept to production

* Ability to produce stage drawings, setup documentation & SOPs

* Experience with tooling & fixturing design

* Strong shopfloor support and problem-solving capability

* Knowledge of PFMEA & supporting quality functions

* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles

* Able to lead technical discussions with suppliers & customers

* Ideally HNC qualified (or equivalent experience)
