Electrical Maintenance Engineer (4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights)

Salary: £58,700 basic | £60,000+ OTE + Overtime

This is a well-paid shift role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who wants strong earnings, stability, and a structured shift pattern.

You’ll be joining a well-established industrial site with a solid engineering team and consistent investment in plant and equipment.

This is a high-paying role for a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with reliable earnings and long-term security.

The role

* Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across site

* Planned maintenance and TPM activity

* Repair and maintenance of plant and production equipment

* Supporting installations, upgrades, and improvement projects

* Working closely with the wider engineering team on shift

Equipment and systems

* Motors, pumps, and drives

* Low voltage control systems

* Three-phase electrical systems

* Industrial machinery and production plant

Progression

There are clear routes into:

* Senior Engineer roles

* Supervisory positions

* Project and continuous improvement work

Requirements

* Electrical apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

* Experience in industrial electrical maintenance

* Strong fault-finding skills

* Ability to work independently in a shift environment

Shift pattern

* 4 on / 4 off (days and nights)

* 40.25 hours per week

* 16-week cycle

This offers a good balance of working time and extended time off.
