SC Cleared Cloud Engineer

SC Cleared Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) - £560/day Inside IR35 - Milton Keynes (3 days/week) - Government We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with strong Azure expertise to support a government client delivering secure, scalable cloud platforms. This contract is paying £560 per day (Inside IR35) and will run for around 5-6 months, with the possibility of extension. The role requires 3 days per week on-site in Milton Keynes, with the remainder remote.

You'll be focused on building, migrating and supporting cloud infrastructure across Azure (primarily) with some exposure to AWS, working within a secure, regulated environment. What you'll be doing:
Designing and building cloud infrastructure across Azure (and some AWS) Creating and implementing cloud landing zones Migrating legacy applications into cloud environments Developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep) Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Managing identity and access (Azure AD / IAM) Applying strong security practices, including Zero Trust principles Acting as a technical SME and supporting stakeholders Tech and environment:
Microsoft Azure (core platform) AWS (working knowledge) Terraform and/or Bicep (IaC) CI/CD tooling and Dev Sec Ops  practices Azure AD / IAM Monitoring and security tooling Agile delivery environments

What we're looking for:

Active SC Clearance strongly preferred (eligibility considered) Strong hands-on Azure engineering experience Experience delivering cloud migration projects Proven Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or Bicep) Good understanding of cloud security and secure design principles Experience in regulated or government environments Relevant Azure or AWS certification (desirable) This is a strong opportunity to support a major government programme, combining hands-on cloud engineering with secure platform delivery, in a hybrid working setup.
