Sustainability Graduate

Sustainability Graduate opportunity based in Willenhall, Wolverhampton. The role will be part of the EMEIA Graduate Programme, including a 3‑month international secondment to another market region within ASSA ABLOY, and will involve development programmes and a local business mentor.

Use your knowledge and experience to help the organisation achieve net‑zero ambitions.

• Identify and share fresh perspectives and ideas to accelerate the journey to net‑zero emissions and create a net‑zero strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments, including a detailed analysis of Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
• Devises and implements sustainability strategies aligned with industry best practices and global standards.
• Collaborates with various departments to identify and implement energy‑efficient practices.
• Stays abreast of evolving sustainability regulations and ensures compliance.

• Graduated within the last 18 months with a minimum 2:1 degree in sustainability or equivalent.
• Aspiring and keen to develop within the programme.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Dares to think differently and uses new techniques, processes or technologies to solve challenges.
• Team player who listens and incorporates differing suggestions and opinions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
