Salary: £28,598 – £31,022 – G5

Full Time – Permanent Post

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Client Welfare Services Team.

The Client Welfare Services Team supports clients who are vulnerable and/or have reduced capacity and require support to manage their own finances.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and effective financial administration support for clients within the Adult Social Care directorate.
  • Apply for and maximize benefits, with a good understanding of the welfare and benefits system.
  • Complete regular reviews of client finances.
  • Pay invoices and provide personal monies accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Contact providers such as utility companies, care providers, housing organisations.
  • Liaise with Adult Social Care colleagues and the client’s wider support network including family and friends.

  • Excellent organisational and customer care skills.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and workloads.
  • Understanding of personal finance and benefits system.
  • Knowledge of Appointee and Deputy roles.

The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English. The post holder will be required to comply with the Government’s English Language Fluency Duty.
