Audit Associate

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Associate to join our Audit team based in Birmingham.

The role will see you gain your AAT/ACCA qualification and give you exposure to the full Audit process.

• Obtain an understanding of client systems and processes to aid in determining the direction of testing.
• Conduct client and industry research to aid in planning process, including risk identification.
• Complete designated assignments within a timely manner covering all aspects of the balance sheet and P&L.
• Analyze financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information necessary to complete audit procedures.
• Assist senior staff with complex and significant risk areas.
• Report and advise on identified internal control observations and misstatements to management.
• Attend and perform year-end stock count.
• Provide a study support package.
