Private Client Solicitor – Tax Focus Wiltshire Hybrid A well-established and highly respected law firm in Wiltshire are looking to hire a junior Private Client Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop a specialist tax-focused skillset, working closely with and being mentored by a tax specialist, About the Role You will develop your personal tax and wealth planning knowledge and gaining exposure to matters including:
Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax and Stamp Duty Land Tax Estate and succession planning for individuals, families, trustees, business owners and farmers Advising on the tax implications of key lifetime events, including business sales, retirement and relocation Structuring investments and family wealth in a tax-efficient way Advising on family investment companies and property investment/rental businesses Understanding the interaction between personal, business and property interests About You Ideally 1–3 years’ PQE in Private Client A genuine interest in developing a specialism in Tax Strong academic and technical ability with an appetite to learn Good client care and communication skills STEP, ATT or CTA qualifications would be welcomed, or an interest in pursuing them with support You don’t need to be a tax specialist already – the key is having the interest, aptitude and ambition to become one.
