Community Protection Enforcement Officers
- G7: £35,412 - £38,220 per annum.

We are looking for someone who is able to patrol the streets and district centres of the Borough, engaging with members of the public and businesses and confronting those who seek to do harm or create nuisance in our neighbourhoods.

• Patrol in uniform around the streets and other areas for long periods of time, sometimes in the evening and at weekends, engaging with all members of the community.
• Deal with anti-social behaviour, neighbour nuisance, environmental crime, highways enforcement and some licensing enforcement.
• Appear at court on behalf of the authority where necessary and undertake partnership working as required.

• Ability to patrol on foot for long periods and be available for some evening and weekend duties.
• Ability to deal with confrontation with good interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
• Experience of aspects of law enforcement is useful as the role involves taking evidence for prosecution and other enforcement outcomes.
