Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Planning Officer (Development Management) to manage householder and minor planning applications, pre-application enquiries and associated appeals. The contract is for 3 months in Walsall WS1 1TP
.
Planning Officer (Development Management)
Pay Rate: £25.27 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37, Monday-Friday, standard working hours
Contract length: 3 months
Location:
Walsall
Hybrid - 2 days per week on site, including Tuesdays
- Practical experience managing householder and minor planning applications, pre-application enquiries and related appeals.
- Good knowledge of planning law, with strong report-writing, plan-reading and customer communication skills.
- A planning-related degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Manage a varied caseload from site visits and consultations through negotiation, recommendations and decisions, meeting statutory and local deadlines.
- Prepare clear reports and correspondence, maintain complete case files and represent the Council at meetings, case reviews and appeals.
