Lymphoedema Clinical Nurse Specialist

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit was completed in 2018, extension of a Neonatal Unit and an approved plan to build a brand new, state of the art Emergency Department which commenced in 2021

This new opportunity has arisen as we move through an exciting period of development and redesign. This Specialist service is a well-respected clinical area where there is potential for growth and development for the right individual.

Enthusiasm, motivation, and a desire for personal development are essential qualities required in this role; you will be expected to have a commitment to working progressively within the field of specialist Lymphoedema and we will support you in this through education and training opportunities.

You must be able to demonstrate excellence in clinical practice, an ability to act as a resource for information and education and have a collaborative approach to working with other services.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent. Demonstrable experience of Lymphoedema and/or Tissue Viability is beneficial. A non-medical prescribing qualification (V150) is also desirable but not…
