Job overviewThe post holder will be part of a dedicated Single Point of Access team and will support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) 0-19. The SPA operates a text, telephone and email service to children, young people, parents/carers and other professionals. The team offers advice and support, and provides information and sign posting.

Main duties of the job- To coordinate a team of nurses, assistant practitioners and administrative staff to provide a high quality clinical care programme via the Single Point of Access
- To provide triage, clinical assessment and advice, sign posting to support for children, young people and families who are accessing the Healthy Child Programme 0-19
- To provide timely and relevant information to safeguard children and young people, working within local safeguarding policies and procedures.
- To adhere to Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust policies, procedures and protocols to promote the quality of patient experience, ensuring the highest standard.
- Have a good sound knowledge of Children’s Public Health agenda and Healthy Child Programme 0-19
- To maintain Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust Standards in all aspects of the job
