Job DescriptionAs a Band 3 Clinical help Worker (CSW) you provide a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high quality healthcare and help the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate patient care. This job description should be read in conjunction with the person specification for this specific job.

Main responsibilities JobTo ensure that the orders of the licensed professional who is professionally responsible for the delivery of care are carried out promptly and accurately. Assist with supervision of other health care and support professionals as assigned.
To undertake duties as detailed within the Trusts approved core work listfor Clinical Support Workers/Healthcare Assistant without direct supervision.should notify any patient of concern or any changes in the state of the client or patient to the registered professional.
Provide and deliver a high grade of personalised care under the direction, but not the direct supervision of the certified professional.
To report any care offered to patients within the team to a qualified professional.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute services in Walsall for a population of 284,300. Main Responsibilities To precisely and promptly carry out the instructions of the registered professional who is professionally accountable for the delivery of care. To help in the supervision of other healthcare and support professionals as directed. To carry out duties as defined in the Trusts approved core job list for Clinical Support Workers/Healthcare Assistant without direct supervision. To inform the registered professional of any patient of concern and any noticed changes in the client or patient’s condition.
To provide and provide a high grade of personalised care under the direction but not direct supervision of the registered professional. Inform a qualified professional within the team of all care delivered to patients. To be able to document all care provided to patients, countersigned by a certified professional, always protecting confidentiality. Assist in the preparation of patients for therapy, investigations or procedures as recommended by the registered professional.
