Dignus Group is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused HR Onboarding Administrator to join our Central Support team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in making sure new employees have a smooth and positive experience from accepting their offer through to their first day with us.
The role will have a strong focus on new starter onboarding, ensuring all pre-employment checks, compliance requirements, documentation and system updates are completed accurately and on time. You will work closely with our Recruitment, HR, Payroll, IT and operational teams to ensure new starters are fully prepared to begin their employment with Dignus.

Key Responsibilities- Managing the new starter onboarding process from offer stage through to the employee's first day
- Coordinating and monitoring pre-employment checks, including right to work, DBS, references and other compliance requirements
- Ensuring all required onboarding documentation is received, checked and accurately recorded
- Keeping candidates informed throughout the onboarding process and responding to queries promptly and professionally
- Liaising with candidates to chase outstanding information and documentation
- Working closely with Recruitment to ensure new starters move smoothly from offer through to onboarding
- Working with hiring managers and operational teams to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed
- Updating HR and recruitment systems with accurate employee information
- Ensuring new starter records are complete, accurate and up to date
- Supporting the preparation and issue of employment contracts and other new starter documentation
- Liaising with Payroll and IT to ensure new starters are set up correctly ahead of their start date
- Monitoring onboarding progress and identifying any outstanding actions that could impact a planned start date
- Supporting the administration of new starter paperwork and personnel records
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring GDPR requirements are followed at all times
- Providing general HR administration support when required
- 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 4 hours per day

- Previous experience in administration, ideally within HR, recruitment or onboarding
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing and prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with databases or computerised systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Good standard of education, including Maths and English
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Previous experience within an HR or Recruitment environment
- Experience managing new starter onboarding
- Experience completing or coordinating right-to-work, DBS or employment reference checks
- Experience using HR, recruitment or onboarding systems
- Experience working within a regulated environment
- Administration or HR qualification
