Junior Buyer – Manufacturing Sector

We are a Midlands based manufacturer who are undergoing significant growth due to the global demand for our products. As a result of expansion and a major site relocation, we are looking to strengthen our purchasing department with a professional Buyer.

You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to continuously develop our supply chains as well as get involved with procurement support for the factory move.

This is a great opportunity for someone to have a real positive impact on the business through closely managing material spend, proactively developing established global supply chains and improving materials control from supplier to shop floor.

Requirements:

• Experience with in a manufacturing purchasing environment
• Desirable:
  Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. Working towards CIPS Level 4 qualification or holding full CIPS membership
