G2 £ 12.65 per hour
We require hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners to join our casual cleaners’ pool. You will need to be able to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
ResponsibilitiesCasual Cleaners are required to cover premises across the Walsall Borough to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our schools and outlying buildings. In your role you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order following Health & Safety requirements. You will undertake cleaning duties including mopping, polishing and vacuuming. You will be required to have an understanding of or be willing to train in the safe use of cleaning chemicals and machinery.
Requirements- Hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated
- Previous cleaning experience is desired
- Willing to train in cleaning chemicals and machinery
- Role is non-contractual; hours are allocated on an “as and when” basis to cover annual leave, sick leave and deep cleaning. If a permanent position arises, successful applicants will be considered.
- Availability: early mornings 6.00 a.m.–8.00 a.m. or afternoons from 3.00 p.m. onwards; you do not have to be available 5 days per week
- Understanding of or willingness to train in safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to communicate in English; the post may require verbal communication with customers
