School Cleaner / Caretaker

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 9:00am and 3:30pm to 6:00pm (22.5 hours per week) Purpose of the Role To maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Key Duties Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as required. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Replenish toilet and hygiene supplies. Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning products safely.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with occasional deep cleaning during school holidays. Person Specification Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual. Good attention to detail. Able to work independently. Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant
