Site Services & Security Manager

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a proactive Site Services & Security Manager to oversee all aspects of facilities, security, and site operations. You will ensure the site runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations, while leading a small team of support staff.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Manage and maintain all site security systems and protocols, including CCTV, access control, and emergency procedures
Oversee the day-to-day operation of facilities, including maintenance, cleaning, waste management, and contractor performance
Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and internal company policies
Develop and implement site-wide policies, procedures, and risk assessments
Lead, motivate, and manage the site services team, providing coaching and development opportunities
Coordinate with senior management to plan budgets and capital projects for site improvements
Act as the primary contact for external contractors and service providers

Skills / Competencies

Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail
Ability to analyse and improve operational processes
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of health & safety, security, and facilities management best practices
Ability to respond quickly and decisively to incidents or emergencies

Qualifications / Experience

Proven experience in facilities, site services, or security management
Solid understanding of UK health & safety regulations
Experience managing small teams and coordinating multiple operational functions
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, facilities management) are desirable
