We are currently working with an exciting new start-up care provider who are in the process of registering their first supported living service in Walsall. Having recently appointed the Nominated Individual, they are now looking to recruit an experienced CQC Registered Manager to support the organisation through the registration process and help shape the service from the ground up.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager with strong knowledge of supported living and CQC regulatory requirements, who enjoys building services and driving high standards of care from the very beginning.

CQC Registered Manager:

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and high-quality running of the service, ensuring excellent outcomes for the people supported and strong leadership for the team
You will play a key role in supporting the organisation through the CQC registration process, helping develop policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to ensure the service is fully compliant and ready for delivery.

CQC Registered Manager:

Key Responsibilities

Support the organisation through the CQC registration process with the NI
Ensure full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and regulatory requirements
Lead assessments, care planning, and delivery of person-centred support
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, quality, and risk management
Operational oversight
Support budget management and service performance
Drive quality improvement and strong governance practices
Embed person-centred and trauma-informed approaches to support
Build positive relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners, and external partners.

CQC Registered Manager:
About You

Previous experience as a Registered Manager within supported living
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and registration processes
Experience developing services and maintaining high-quality standards
Confident leader with the ability to build and develop teams
Passionate about delivering person-centred care and positive outcomes
