Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Home Deputy Manager seeking their first step into a Registered Manager's role within a leading specialist provider of children’s residential care. This position offers the chance to oversee a 1-bed EBD home and a solo home catering for a young person with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Children's Home Manager will be responsible for the efficient running of this service, with potential for progression into multi-site management as the organisation expands. • Hold OFSTED registration and ensure compliance with all standards
• Manage and support staff teams within the service
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
• Deliver therapeutic care and support tailored to individual needs
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality service
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and staff development
• Ensure the service meets all OFSTED standards and regulations

• NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services
• Proven experience as a Children's Home Deputy Manager
• Experience working with children and young people with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively
