A leading organisation in Walsall is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their business and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. This opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with senior management, oversee multi-company & multi-currency consolidations.

Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller:

• Provide guidance and support to group accounting staff while liaising regularly with senior management teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
• Prepare and review comprehensive UK and Group financial reports and analysis, ensuring accuracy and clarity for all stakeholders.
• Attend to all aspects of Group annual accounts including consolidation processes and audit coordination, maintaining high standards of compliance.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial procedures, contracts systems, and recommend improvements where necessary to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory bodies regarding finance, contracts, data protection, money laundering, ONS reporting, and ISO requirements as applicable.
