Deputy Manager - Harden Hall Walsall

Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00am - 8:00pm

  • Week 1:
    Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Week 2:
    Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

Are you an experienced Team Leader ready to progress into management, or an established Deputy Manager looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for a confident, compassionate and motivated Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of our care home and help us continue delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play an important role in leading and supporting the care team, maintaining high standards and creating a positive environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.

About the role

As Deputy Manager, you will use your leadership skills and care experience to:

  • Support the Home Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the home.
  • Lead, motivate and support colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Help ensure residents' individual needs, choices and preferences are understood and met.
  • Promote a strong culture of dignity, respect and independence.
  • Support the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.
  • Assist with care planning, audits, quality checks and inspections.
  • Help maintain high standards of compliance, safety and quality throughout the home.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues, helping them develop and perform at their best.
About you

You may already be working as a Deputy Manager, or you could be an experienced Team Leader looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career.

You will have a good understanding of working within a care setting and the needs of older people, alongside the confidence to lead and support a team.

Most importantly, you will be customer-focused, compassionate and committed to delivering exceptional, high-quality care. You will be organised, dependable and have strong attention to detail, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents.
