Home Manager - Nursing Home

Walsall | £85,000 + up to £20,000 bonus

Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Ever walked into a home and seen what it could be—and wished you had the freedom to make it happen?

This nursing home in Walsall needs an experienced manager who knows how to get a service moving in the right direction.

There's work to do. You'll need to understand what's holding the home back, give the team clear direction and help people feel confident in the care they're delivering.

You’ll have the authority to make decisions, with the backing and resources to put them into practice.

If you've led a turnaround before, you'll know how much that matters. You can spend your time working with the team, following through on improvements and seeing those changes take hold.

There's scope to develop the home too, building local relationships, growing occupancy and exploring new care pathways where the home can meet a need.

What makes this worth a conversation?

  • £85,000 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £20,000 in bonus
  • Freedom to lead: room to make decisions and shape how the home moves forward
  • Backing to make changes: support and resources to help you put your plans into action
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • A role that puts your turnaround experience to use, with the chance to see the difference you've made

Would this suit you?

  • You’ve spent at least two years managing a nursing home.
  • You can point to improvements you've delivered and a service you've led to a Good CQC rating.
  • You know how to rebuild trust, set clear expectations and bring a team with you.
  • You’re confident with clinical governance, audits and improving care standards.
  • You understand occupancy, budgets and how to build relationships with local authorities and commissioners.
  • You have knowledge of complex care and experience developing new care pathways.
  • You hold an NVQ Level 4, RMA or equivalent management qualification.

A nursing qualification and active NMC PIN are preferred.
