Sector Lead — Health & Safety

Lead a Team. Own Academy Safety. Drive Sector Excellence.

Are you a Health & Safety professional with the expertise to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team? In-Comm Training is looking for a Sector Lead to take full ownership of our Health & Safety provision — overseeing quality assurance, driving learner achievement, managing academy H&S across both sites, and championing continuous improvement. What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced, motivated professional who can demonstrate:

* NEBOSH qualification and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification (or a genuine commitment to achieve these — training is available)

* A Level 3 CAVA or equivalent assessor qualification, and a V1 Internal Quality Assurance award (or equivalent)

* A Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent), with a Level 4 teaching qualification also essential — training available

* GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

* Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team to meet KPIs and deliver outstanding learner outcomes

* Hands-on experience managing Health & Safety across operational sites, including accident and near-miss review and corrective action

* A solid understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, ESFA funding guidelines, and awarding body requirements

* Experience conducting appraisals, session observations, and quality assurance activities

* A Level 3 Management qualification or a Service/Business Improvement qualification would be a distinct advantage
