Job Title

HSE Coordinator - Permanent

Salary

£35,000 p.a.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Overview

Next Generation has been appointed to lead the recruitment for a HSE Coordinator to work with a leading global manufacturer supplying into the Aerospace industry. As the HSE Coordinator you will be responsible for taking a hands‑on approach to proactively promote health, safety and environmental activities.

Duties
  • Act as the on‑site HSE representative across both sites
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and workplace audits
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and safe systems of work
  • Ensure safety controls are implemented and maintained
  • Support supervisors in resolving safety issues promptly
  • Assist in creating, reviewing and maintaining the risk assessment register
  • Ensure documents are up to date and legally compliant
  • Record and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Carry out root cause analysis, implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Maintain accident statistics and trend analysis
  • Support induction training for new starters
  • Coordinate refresher training (e.g., FLT, First Aid, Fire Marshals)
  • Promote positive safety culture across both sites
  • Support safety committee meetings
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3–5 years working within H&S within a manufacturing facility (Essential)
  • IOSH Working Safely (Desirable)
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Desirable)
  • 3–5 years experience working within a manufacturing/production environment (Essential)
  • Absolute understanding of ISO
    14001 & 45001 QMS (Essential)
