General Operative (FLT Combi Licence Required)

£13.47 per hour + Enhanced Overtime Rates

We are currently recruiting a General Operative on behalf of a well‑established manufacturing company based in Brownhills. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced operative looking for long‑term, stable work with regular overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

Operating band saws and chop saws
Using angle grinders
Assisting with general factory and production duties
Operating an overhead crane
Safe operation of an FLT Combi truck
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Supporting the team across the shop floor as required

Requirements

Valid FLT Combi licence (essential)
Clean UK driving licence – no points
Previous experience with band/chop saws
Overhead crane experience
Confident using angle grinders
Experience with in a general factory or manufacturing environment
Willingness to work overtime when required
Reliable, hardworking, and team‑focused

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 07:54 – 16:30
Friday: 07:54 – 13:30

Pay & Benefits

£13.47 per hour
Enhanced overtime rates
