Based at our Barrett Engineering Steel Willenhall Site, we are looking for a passionate and committed Warehouse/Saw Operative. The shift hours are Monday to Friday 6 am to 2 pm, then Monday to Friday 2 pm to 10 pm.

• Select computer‑generated orders and perform repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
• Accurately record stock movement and usage, identify products and use measuring equipment.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Transfer stock and operate saws, overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders and side trackers after full training.
• Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
• Be adaptable and flexible to meet operational requirements.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as required.

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.

• Experience as a warehouse operative and ideally having used band saws.
• Proficiency in working safely, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Flexible attitude, results oriented and enjoys working in a team environment.
• Ability to use mobile equipment (FLT, overhead crane).
• Capability to read written instructions and record accurately the work carried out.
• A full UK driving licence.
