HGV Technician​/Welder​/Fabricator

Overview

HGV Technician - Fabricator Welder – Welder/Fabricator/Coachbuilder Vacancy. Monday to Friday:
Day shift; 45 hours per week. Permanent, full-time position.

The company is a highly experienced fleet management provider with a long track record in delivering commercial vehicle solutions in the municipal sector. They specialise in short and long-term fleet hire solutions and operate workshops and depots across the UK. You will be carrying out fabrication work for a varied and diverse fleet of vehicles.

• Chassis repairs
• Vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Body building and body repairs
• Riveting, bolting, cutting, shaping, bending
• Fabricating predominantly from steel
• Correction of running defects
• Chassis and fabrication work
• TIG and MIG welding
• Hydraulic work
• MOT preparation

Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent in welding and/or fabrication. Time-served experience will also be considered, especially if the skills and experience have been obtained within the automotive industry.
