Butcher - Deboning & Cutting

Full-time 5am till 2pm

Jobsworth Recruitment are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our busy production client based in Walsall. You'll be responsible for high-quality deboning, cutting, trimming and packing of meat to customer specifications.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. If you take pride in your craft and want a role with the chance to go permanent, we'd love to hear from you.

• Debone and cut beef, pork, lamb, and poultry to spec
• Trim, portion, and pack products accurately and to food safety standards
• Maintain a clean, hygienic work area in line with H&S and HACCP procedures
• Operate butchery tools, saws, slicers and other equipment safely
• Meet daily production targets and quality standards
• Support stock rotation and waste control

• Proven experience as a Butcher with strong deboning and cutting skills
• Knowledge of meat cuts, yields, and food hygiene
• Confident using knives, saws, and butchery equipment
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or willing to complete
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to deadlines

• Previous experience in manufacturing / wholesale / retail butchery
• Knife skills and speed with accuracy

• £12.71 - £15.00 per hour dependent on experience
• Temp to Permanent contract for the right person
• Full-time hours
• Supportive team + ongoing training
