Gaming/gambling Related Harms Prevention (GRHP) Community Engagement Worker
Citizens Advice Sandwell and Walsall are looking for three Community Engagement Workers on a 2‑year fixed‑term contract, 16–24 hours per week, typically spread across 3–4 days with some evening and weekend work.
About the RoleAs part of a partnership funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), the role involves delivering prevention and early intervention sessions to young people and adult community groups, building relationships with local organisations, and supporting people to access help when needed. The position aims to raise awareness of gaming and gambling related harms across communities in Sandwell and Walsall.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging prevention and early intervention sessions to young people and adult community groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with local organisations.
- Support people in accessing the appropriate help and resources.
- Raise awareness of gaming and gambling related harms across communities.
- Confident communicator with personal or professional experience of gaming or gambling-related harms, or experience supporting someone with lived or living experience.
- Experience delivering community engagement or educational sessions (preferred).
- Right to work in the UK.
