This exciting opportunity is for a Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner within Sexual Health services in the vibrant town of Walsall. We are looking for a skilled professional to join a multidisciplinary team, working three weekdays ideally every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday though this can be negotiated for a total of 22.5 hours per week.

Working Pattern:
The expectation for the position is to work within the Reproductive Sexual Health service on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, with potential adjustments as required.

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Sexual Health and Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s team in Walsall on a temporary ongoing basis for an initial 3 months. You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working autonomously to support hard-to-reach and vulnerable groups, including those under 25 years, with informed decision‑making regarding their sexual health and contraception options.
What you will do:
- Prescribe, fit, and administer contraceptive methods such as combined oral contraception, emergency contraception, contraceptive patches, implants, depot injections, IUDs, and IUS for contraceptive purposes
- Facilitate screening and treatments for STIs, offering pregnancy testing and referring to abortion services where necessary
- Conduct opportunistic cervical screening and seamless referral to partner agencies when required
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred services tailored to vulnerable groups across both clinical and community settings
- Actively engage young people with brief intervention techniques to support informed sexual health decisions
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to enhance access and continuity of care
- Undertake clinical procedures under PGDs or PSDs, safeguarding patients and escalating concerns when necessary
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records, contributing to continuous improvement in service quality and safety
