Retail Supervisor – Full Time
Hours:

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Bloxwich, West Midlands. This is a permanent 39‑hour full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.
Please note that for full‑time positions we will generally require you to be fully flexible in your availability for work throughout the week, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits- Hourly pay rate of £13.61.
- Guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week, earning at least £530 per week.

- Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
- Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
- Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- A people person who builds strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team and your team and customers will depend on you to perform to the best of your ability at all times.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries would be an advantage, but we welcome applicants who are ready to take the first steps in a retail management career.
- Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if successful and offered the position.
