Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour, this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, but if you prefer fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we also welcome applications. We schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and will give you three weeks' notice of your shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times match closely but not exactly, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
  • Put into practice the training received, ensuring work is safe, effective, and customer service is brilliant.
  • Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet their needs at the right time.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Be knowledgeable about the store's performance, understanding your role and what we need to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Live our values, make everyone feel welcome, and always follow policies.
  • At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
