We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grocery retail business. The successful candidate will manage stock, staff, sales performance, and customer service across a wide range of product categories including grocery items, meat, vegetables, fruits, and fish..

• Manage procurement, stock control, pricing, and merchandising across all product categories..
• Ensure goods and services meet quality standards and customer expectations..
• Supervise, recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance..
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability..
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and other legal requirements..
• Analyse market trends and customer demand to support purchasing and promotional decisions..
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and control operational costs..
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised retail environment..

• Previous experience in retail management, grocery retail, or a similar supervisory role..
• Strong leadership and staff management skills..
• Good organisational, communication, and customer service abilities..
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced retail environment..
• Basic financial and stock management knowledge.

Experience: Required
Employment: Full-time
Salary: £31,300 – £42,000 yearly
