Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are a well-established and growing Recruitment Agency specialising in the Industrial and Commercial sectors, based in the heart of Walsall town centre. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

Are you confident, energetic, and the type of person who can talk to absolutely anyone? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, love a challenge and have the personality to turn a "no" into a conversation? If so, we want to hear from you. This is a sales driven role where no two days are the same. You’ll be speaking to candidates and clients all day, building relationships, winning business, and making things happen.

• High-volume outbound cold calling to candidates and clients
• Generating new business opportunities
• Meeting candidates face-to-face through walk-ins and registrations
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Advertising jobs and screening applicants
• Matching candidates to vacancies
• Working towards targets in a fast-moving sales environment
• Negotiating deals and closing placements

• Confident communicator with strong people skills
• Energetic, motivated, and success hungry
• Polite, professional, and approachable
• Comfortable talking to new people all day
• Resilient and able to handle rejection positively
• Sales, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is a bonus
• Full UK driving licence is essential
