Business Development - Construction

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, family-run business with ambitious growth plans.

Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke wardrobes, kitchens, office furniture, and fitted interiors. Due to continued success, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive new business within the construction sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and developing new business. You'll be responsible for identifying and securing opportunities with house builders, property developers, student accommodation providers, leisure operators, and shopfitting contractors.

The Role

* Generate and secure new business opportunities across the construction sector.

* Develop relationships with developers, main contractors, architects, and key decision-makers.

* Promote the company's bespoke furniture solutions, including kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture, and fitted interiors.

* Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and manage projects from initial enquiry through to handover.

* Represent the business at client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions.

* Work closely with the internal design and project teams to deliver outstanding customer service.

About You

* Proven experience in business development or sales within the construction, interiors, fit-out, or related sectors.

* An established network of contacts within construction would be highly advantageous.

* A confident communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

* Self-motivated, commercially driven, and capable of working independently.

* Full UK driving licence.
