We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused
** Field Sales Agent
** to join our growing wholesale building merchant business. This role involves developing relationships with trade customers, contractors, and commercial clients while promoting our range of building materials and construction products.. .

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers and business clients..
• Identify new sales opportunities and generate business leads..
• Promote and sell building materials and company products to commercial customers..
• Visit customer sites to provide product advice and sales support..
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and secure customer orders..
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate sales records..
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities..
• Liaise with internal sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure excellent customer service..
• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth..

• Previous experience in field sales, trade sales, or business development, preferably within the building materials or construction sector..
• Strong communication and negotiation skills..
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships..
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills..
• Full UK driving licence preferred..
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to sales.

Salary: £31,300 – £42,000 yearly
