Position: Business Development Manager - - Life Safety Power
Location: Willenhall

As our Business Development Manager for Life Safety Power, you will be accountable for driving the growth and market presence of our intelligent power solutions portfolio across the UK and Ireland, while assisting opportunities across Europe and Africa. This is a strategic role that combines commercial leadership, market development, and technical expertise, helping customers unlock greater value from integrated power and access control technologies.

Working closely with customers, partners, and colleagues across the Digital, EAC, Technical, Product Management, and Marketing teams, you will identify new opportunities, strengthen market engagement, and influence the adoption of innovative power solutions. You would also:

  • Drive business growth for the Power Systems category through a structured development plan, achieving sales and margin targets across assigned channels and territories.
  • Expand Life Safety Power market adoption by engaging OEMs, integrators, consultants, architects, end users, and influencers through technical support, specifications, CPD sessions, and product education.
  • Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline by tracking all activities in CRM, ensuring accurate reporting and contributing to tender responses and joint proposals.
  • Provide technical and market expertise by maintaining in-depth knowledge of LSP solutions, monitored power systems, and integration protocols while assisting customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate and uphold company values by working closely with Product Management, Digital, and EAC teams, delivering timely administration, attending key industry events, and demonstrating Empowerment, Innovation, and Integrity in all interactions.
  • Has experience working with System Integrators, OEMs, and electrical/security contractors, building and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Has strong technical knowledge of low-voltage power systems, networked power supplies, and access control infrastructure, ideally assisted by an electrical or engineering background.
  • Can demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, including relationship building, presentations, negotiations, CRM management, and reporting.
  • Has desirable expertise includes knowledge of relevant EN standards, delivery of CPD or technical training sessions, and familiarity with Life Safety Power, Mercury Security, or integrated access control ecosystems.
