Class 2 Driver (HGV
2) - Temporary Cover (Long-Term Sick Leave)
Location: Walsall
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour | £22.50 per hour (overtime)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (HGV
2) Driver to provide temporary cover for a long-term sickness absence. You will be working with a leading UK metal stockist based in Walsall.
- Monday to Friday work (3-5 days per week depending on workload)
- Start times between 05:00 - 07:00
- Nationwide deliveries
- Operating flatbed/dropside vehicles
- Securing loads using ratchet straps and sheeting
- Valid Class 2 (Category
C) licence - CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience with metal/steel deliveries
- Confident in load securing on flatbed vehicles
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic HGVs
- Competitive hourly rate
- Overtime paid at enhanced rate
- Flexible working days (based on business needs)
