Counterbalance Fork Lift Driver

FLT / Counterbalance Driver – Despatch
Location: Bloxwich
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 18:30 (approx.)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Counterbalance Driver to join our busy Despatch team based in Bloxwich.

This role is working within a temperature-controlled food production environment
, primarily chilled with occasional work in frozen storage areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the movement, storage, and rotation of pork products, ensuring stock is managed accurately and in line with product dates and company procedures.

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading products within the despatch and storage areas
• Rotating stock in line with product dates and FIFO procedures
• Moving stock between storage facilities, including driving the forklift a short distance on a public road to a nearby storage unit
• Updating stock records and inputting data accurately onto company systems
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhering to all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Previous experience working within a warehouse, despatch, or storage environment
• Good level of computer literacy and confidence using warehouse systems
• Ability to work in chilled and occasionally frozen conditions
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

• £14.00 per hour
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours per week
• Overtime rate of Time + ⅓
• Full-time, ongoing opportunity
• Monday to Friday working pattern
