School Minibus Driver Required

Start date: 1st September 2026

Salary: £4,475 per annum for mornings only (1.75 hours daily) or £8,951 per annum for mornings and afternoons (3.5 hours daily), plus pension, paid overtime and wellbeing benefits.

We are seeking a safety‑conscious, calm and reliable Minibus Driver to safely transport pupils between designated pick‑up points and the school. Authorised overtime may be available for school trips and events. Applicants must have at least two years’ driving experience, a full clean UK driving licence (D1 entitlement desirable), and be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.

• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle safety inspections and maintain records
• Monitor cleanliness and arrange regular internal and external cleaning
• Check fuel and fluid levels and report maintenance concerns
• Drive safely, adhering to road regulations and speed limits
• Supervise pupils, ensuring seatbelts are worn and safety procedures followed
• Enforce the school minibus policy and report incidents or behaviour concerns
• Communicate professionally with parents using agreed school procedures
• Collect and drop off pupils at designated locations and times
• Manage and report accidents or incidents appropriately
• Ensure personal data is protected
