HGV CLass 2

Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers.

This is an on-going role adhoc cover working up to 4 days per week between Monday to Friday. 9.25 hours per shift.

Location Walsall.

Induction followed by 3 days training.

This is a varied role.

• Collection of Bulky Items.
• Primary function, day to day driving duties.
• Household door-to-door collections, commercial waste collections.
• Street cleaning and associated functions.
• Recycling collections, performance targets and reducing contamination
• Garden waste collections, food waste collections, domestic refuse collections.
• Recycling collection services.
• Bulky item collections, bin delivery, mechanical sweeper operations, removal of fly tipping.

Pay £16.35 Per Hour.

Rolled up Holiday Pay £18.32

We are working with a local authority who are looking for an HGV Class 2 Environmental HGV Class 2 Driver, you will drive a refuse collection vehicle supplied by the Authority to carry out designated duties. These duties are to ensure that all waste streams (including Trade Waste) are collected.

This is a varied role and you will be working and assisting on your team, and on occasion you will be on the road sweeper.
