People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Service Driver to join our well-established client based in Aldridge, West Midlands
.

Multi-Drop Driver

Rates of Pay:
- £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern:
- Rota-based shifts, including weekend working - 5 days out of 7
- 08:00 - 16:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Service Driver are:
- Swapping out equipment on client sites
- Servicing equipment on client sites
- Carrying out general yard duties
- Operating and driving 3.5-tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are secure before transport
- Adhering to UK traffic laws and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
- Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required
Essential
Skills:
To be successful as a Service Driver
, you will need:
- A valid UK Category B driving licence
- A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsements
- Good knowledge of the UK road network
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent punctuality and time management skills
- A strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to provide excellent customer service
Training:
- Driver assessment required prior to starting
- One-day paid induction following a successful assessment
- Industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support throughout your assignment
