Warehouse Operative

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Walsall.

Our client is a global leader in the design, engineering, manufacture, and supply of fastenings and Category 'C' components. '

The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour.

Weekly overtime is available and Saturday overtime is paid at x1.5, Sunday overtime is paid at x2.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative your duties include:

- Working with a scanner
- Manual handling, including lifting items up to 25 kg
- Quality control checks
- Carrying out basic warehouse duties
- Counting stock for audits
- Following Health and Safety processes at all times
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when picking orders for customers
- Any other reasonable duties to support the delivery of exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers

Our Perfect Worker

Our Perfect worker will have the following skills:

- Good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in every task
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills to support stock checks and daily warehouse processes
- Confident using technology and handheld scanners to track and manage items
- A proactive team player who enjoys working with others to keep operations running smoothly
- Comfortable with tasks involving repetition, including counting, checking, and updating stock levels

No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to help you grow confidently in your role!

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have experience or certifications in:
- VNA
- FLT
- LOLOP
- Can operate a pump truck
