Salary: $150,000–$160,000

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is partnering with a growing $30M digital media organization to identify a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a highly visible position for someone who enjoys owning the full accounting function while also supporting HR, benefits, and retirement plan administration.

• Own the general accounting function, including month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis to support business decisions
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
• Coordinate year-end audit, tax, and other external accounting relationships
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and the company’s retirement plan
• Manage day-to-day HR administration, including employee onboarding/offboarding, benefits, policies, and employee documentation
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, operational initiatives, and process improvements
• Serve as a hands-on Controller who can operate strategically while remaining involved in the details

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• MUST HAVE Netsuite experience
• Strong general accounting and financial reporting background
• Prior experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership capacity
• Experience with payroll, benefits, retirement plans, and/or HR administration strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in a smaller, entrepreneurial organization where responsibilities extend beyond traditional accounting
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with senior leadership
• Digital media, advertising, marketing, professional services, or similar industry experience is a plus
