Tax Supervisor

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Tax Supervisor just outside of Boston Massachusetts (MA).

Summary:

This is a hybrid role with a top local accounting firm with high-end clients. The clients here are mostly very successful business, and the tax work primarily supports these business owners, their families and related business and charitable entities. The firm is technologically oriented and promotes solid work/life balance within their organization. This position is hybrid with flexible hours.

• Support engagement planning, scheduling, and delivery
• Review tax returns and supervise staff work
• Coach, train, and mentor tax staff
• Perform tax research and analysis;
  Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts
• Provide tax planning and advisory support
• Advise on tax implications related to transactions, investments, and business decisions
• Assist with tax audits, provisions, and related documentation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries and delivering high-quality service

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of current or recent CPA firm tax experience
• Supervisory/review of staff work experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• CPA, MST or EA is strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
