Position: Assistant Project Manager (Heavy Civil Construction)

The Assistant Project Manager works within the Project Management Team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project to ensure a timely and cost‑effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project. The role ensures the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Depending on the size and complexity of the projects, the Assistant Project Manager will be involved in a range of responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years prior relevant heavy civil infrastructure construction experience with a self‑perform general contractor.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
