Job Description SummaryThe Department of Economics currently seeks adjunct instructors to fill current and future open sections for several courses that include Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Business Statistics. There may also be additional openings to teach upper‑level undergraduate courses. Information about the Department and course descriptions can be found here:
Bentley Economics Courses.
Teach the designated courses, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, develop course materials, grade assignments and assessments, and contribute to maintaining academic standards for the program.
Qualifications- Minimum: M.A. in Economics.
- Preference:
Ph.D. in Economics. - Teaching experience in undergraduate economics courses is desirable.

Salary RangeCompensation for adjunct faculty is governed by the collective bargaining agreement between Bentley University and SEIU Local 509. For the 2025–26 academic year, adjunct faculty are compensated at a rate of $7,225.00 per course. Courses with labs and other four‑credit courses shall be compensated at a higher minimum rate of $9,333.00 per course.
