Senior Project Manager – Land Development

Location: Waltham, MA Salary: $85,000.00 – $

Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Land Development practice in Waltham, MA!

Responsibilities
  • Lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients
  • Operate with integrity and sound business principles
  • Provide vision, business planning, and strategy
  • Establish goals
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships
  • Communicate openly with partners and team
  • Grow and lead a land development practice
  • Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, act as a positive leader and mentor
  • Exercise autonomy to lead, direct, and grow business
  • Potential to advance to ownership with an impressive bonus program
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
  • Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
  • Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
