As a skilled technician, you contribute to the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment, supporting electrical engineering activities in a laboratory or bench environment.

• Assist engineers in constructing prototype products and test fixtures from concepts.
• Perform PCB and cable building.
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot and rework existing electronic equipment, prototypes, and systems.
• Adhere to J-STD-001 for soldering and inspection for electrical re-work.
• Hold or obtain soldering certification to IPC 610 or complete certifications.
• Schedule, organize, and document equipment calibration in an electronic database (BMRAM).
• Organize, coordinate, and execute testing of prototypes with engineering guidance, developing or revising test methods as required.
• Prepare reports/documentation to communicate results and recommendations.
• Coordinate procuring and qualification of new or modified test and process equipment.
• Assist project teams in obtaining necessary materials, services, and test data, with internal or external resources.
• Train on the technical aspects of the job including interpreting and rationalizing results (statistics, DOE).
• Support engineering with the evaluation of new technologies within functional areas.

• 2-4 Years of experience with a high school diploma and/or equivalent training, apprenticeships, or experience.
