Tax Supervisor

We have a client seeking a Tax Supervisor in Waltham, MA.

$75.00/hr - $75.00/hr

• Supervise and mentor tax staff, delegating tasks and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance
• Oversee preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
• Ensure timely and accurate estimated tax payments and extensions
• Maintain compliance with changing tax laws and regulations
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
• Review client tax issues and provide recommendations
• Assist with tax planning strategies for individuals and businesses
• Conduct complex tax research and draft technical memos
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess implications
• Resolve escalated tax issues and provide guidance on technical matters
• Manage engagement budgets, billing, and collections
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of tax staff
• Organize workflow and ensure adherence to firm policies and deadlines

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience
